Ballymena Runners enjoyed the final race of the excellently organised Woodburn Forest trail series. Consistency and hard effort from Ballymena Runners was rewarded withy podium places on the night and in the series overall.
Trainers before Tyres - Free community event - Visit, Walk or Run the New Road
A free community event will mark the opening of the new road on Friday 16th June. This is a unique opportunity to walk, jog or run along the new link road before it opens to traffic. It will include a fun community event with bouncy castles and music at the Showgrounds. And we have the Golden Mile - a 1 Mile race on the pristine new road. Come along and join us as we celebrate the new road opening.

Blue Skies and Blue Vests at Belfast City Marathon
Among the thousands of runners who took to the streets for the 41st Annual Belfast City Marathon, dozens of Ballymena Runners donned their blue vests and joined them. With 19 runners completing the full marathon, 5 relay teams and the supporters in the cheer zone is little wonder our runners had such success including PBs.
Mountains, coast, zoos, roads, trails - we run everywhere
The past week has been exceptionally busy for club runners. Our biggest turnout was in Larne for the 10 mile race. We had mountain runners in the Mourne Marauder, safari runners at Belfast Zoo Half Marathoners in Omagh and Marathoners in Roscommon. And to top it all we donated £1456 to the Cancer Fund for Children.
