Trainers before Tyres - Free community event - Visit, Walk or Run the New Road

Community event to open new road at St Patricks Regeneration site
A free community event will mark the opening of the new road that will open up the St Patrick’s regeneration site and link the north of Ballymena with the Larne Link road on Friday 16th June in Ballymena Showgrounds.

This is a unique opportunity to walk, jog or run along the new link road before it opens to traffic. It will include a fun community event with bouncy castles and music at the Showgrounds. The gates will open at 6pm.

Everyone is welcome to this free evening to celebrate the road opening which will include an adult and children’s 2.5 km walk and run and a timed Golden Mile race.
