Lurig Mountain Run
Congratulations to all Ballymena Runners who competed on Saturday at the ever popular Lurig Mountain race as part of the Queen of the Glens festival in Cushendall. In particular well done to Ruth Aiken and Kieran Scullion in winning their respective age categories. Kieran was also 3rd overall.
A special mention to all our families, friends and club members who were out on the course (too many to mention personally) who provided unrivalled support, encouragement and the pictures you see below. Thank you from all of us!
Finally, thank you to the Fleck family who enabled us to enter a Ballymena Runner tractor in the vintage tractor parade this year. This included a donation to their nominated charity - MacMillan Cancer Support.
