Although the event was held in mid-August at times it felt like New Year's Day with the mist and heavy rain making the course more difficult.
The course was designed by Course Director Mark Alexander to take in the iconic Glenariff Glen Forest Park, including the top ridge of the mountain, Laragh Lodge and the historic waterfalls.
Overall management of the event was by Race Director Matthew Allen, ably assisted by an army of volunteers from the club - huge thanks to everyone of our magnificent volunteers who helped make the event a success!
We also want to thank Ambutan for on course first aid provision, NI Forestry Service and the good folks at the Glenariff Tea Rooms.
Special mention to our Race announcer Davy McKibben and Patrick and his team.
See you all again on New Year's Day 2022!
