'Neigh bother' to the Ballymena Runners 'thoroughbreds' as they gallop around Down Royal race course behind closed doors!
This week end saw another great ‘behind closed doors’ event as part of the Championchip Ireland race series at Down Royal Racecourse.
Club stalwart Mark Osmer said:
"This was the last event of the ChampionChipIreland series. And I’m sure I speak for all the athletes in thanking all sponsors, event organisers and dedicated volunteers who made these events safe, whilst providing an opportunity to race and keep engaged with the sport during these challenging times"
Notable results - James Hamilton overall 5th place (15:33), John Robinson (17:25), John Hasson (17:55), Matthew Robinson (18:10), John McClelland (19:08), Jim Moore (19:11 and Mark Osmer (27:18).
