World Masters Mountain Running Championships
Congratulations to Gillian Wasson, Tim Lowry and Mark Alexander who competed in the World Masters Mountain Running Championship in Southern Italy - Gagliano del Capo.

The Ballymena Runners competed over the 'long course' (dictated by age category) and saw the mountain runners cover 7m and 1,600 feet in hot conditions on stunning costal climbs.

All three ran very strongly with Tim and Mark counting for Ireland in the team competition and winning the team Silver World Medal (IAAF) for their Master 45 Category!
