On Sunday afternoon it was Donegal’s turn to host this year’s NI + Ulster Senior XC Championship.
Six club members headed to Carndonagh to compete with the best of the Ulster clubs.
The course for the men this year was around 10K, slightly shorter than the usual 12K senior championship race.
This was the final XC race of the season, and with double points on offer towards the NI league table, the team put in a mighty effort to finish in 6th position overall (according to Jason’s calculations).
Kieran Scullion lead the team home, closely followed by Jack McKenna, Jason Wilson, Brendan Kerr, Sean Hasson and Tony Scullion.
Well done to all team members on a very successful cross country season. We await the final league position with bated breath!
