On Sataurday Emma Donnelly, as the sole Ballymena Mountain Runner, travelled to the Mournes to compete in the next race of the Northern Ireland Mountain Running (NIMRA) Championships - The Spelga Skyline.
This race, superbly promoted by B.A.R.F, saw athletes compete over 21km (13 miles) with over 1,550 metres (5,400 feet) of climbing.
This long category race started at Spelga Dam and took in the dam's circular mountainous route which included 9 mountain summits!
Emma equipped herself well over this testing and arduous long championship course.
Thank you to B.A.R.F for a great race and to all the course marshals and supporters.
Well done Emma!
