Ballymena Runners out in force at An Creggan Trail Race
Ballymena Runners have a long history of supporting our neighbour club Sperrin Harriers and their annual Winter League. The league enjoyed its triumphant return with the Lough Fea 5k a few weeks ago, an event carefully organised to take account of current health guidelines, in the striking foothills of the Sperrin Mountains with s course around the lough which welcomed a talented turnout of almost 150 runners.
The second race in the series was at An Creggan, located between Omagh and Cookstown at the foothills of the Sperrin Mountains.
Jason Wilson came in third place overall and second in the Male 30-39 category in a time of 29:19. Next home for the club was Mark Alexander who finished tenth overall and second in the Male 50-59 category in 31:06.
