Ballymena Runners Hot in the mountains!
Huge congratulations to Jonathan McCloy, Tim Lowry and James Turner who completed the 3rd round of the NI Mountain Running Association Championship.
The ‘Spelga Skyline’ Race was held on Saturday in stifling heat, and the hottest day on record.
Despite the heat the guys completed the course covering over 13 miles with and 5,500 feet of climbing over the nine mountains summits surrounding the famous Spelga Dam in the Mourne mountains.

Ballymena Runners Run The Carn!
Another great event on 12 July with the Acorns Runners ‘Run The Carn’ 5k mountain run.
The course follows the slopes of Carntogher, and follows the old route of the pass over Glenshane before the road was built.
A fantastic 5km mountain run hosted by An Carn Community.
