We reported previously Jack McKenna’s Lake District fell run (the Bob Graham Round) in September when he completed 66 miles and 27,000 feet of climbing in under 22 hours.
The Bob Graham Round is a fell running challenge in the English Lake District. The course is approximately sixty six miles in length, so roughly 2 ½ full marathons in distance. It involves climbing almost 27,000 feet - almost as much as Mount Everest at 29,000 feet. It is named after Bob Graham who traversed 42 fells within a 24-hour period.
We now have Jack’s full story and pictures about completing this exceptional challenge.
