Gillian and Jason do the An Creagan double
There was a Ballymena Runners double over the Sperrins as Jason Wilson and Gillian Wasson both won their respective races on a five-mile trail route around An Creagan on Saturday.

This was the third race in the 2017/18 Winter Trail Series as organised by Sperrin Harriers and maintained the excellent start to the year for both athletes.

Jason won the overall event in 29 minutes exactly, some 14 seconds ahead of nearest rivals Matthew Neill from Omagh Harriers. And Gillian, fresh from her Race Over The Glens victory on New Year's Day took the ladies honours in 33:28 between Karen McLaughlin from Springwell into second spot.

Indeed, it was a day of impressive performances for the large contingent from the club.
