A quieter weekend eventwise, but the club turned out in numbers wherever runners could be found.
NI & Ulster Road Relay Championships
Much of the weekend action was focus on the 2018 Northern Ireland & Ulster Road Relay Championships held in Victoria Park, Belfast.
Ballymena Runners were well represented at the event with a number of teams in both the Masters and Senior races, each runner completing two laps of the course for a total of 3380 metres.
Best club result of the day came via the Masters Men Team 1 who just missed out on a podium place with a fourth place finish in a time of 43:18, including a 10:32 leg from Ben Morrow which was best for Ballymena and fifth overall.
In the Women's events, the Masters Team A finished highest up the standings in 6th spot.
Run Anon Loughview 10k
A small number of Ballymena Runners turned up in Crumlin on Sunday morning for the Run Anon Loughview 10k and 5k event on the shores of Lough Neagh.
Peter Faith was first from the club home in the 10k (47:49) followed by Kathryn Grant (50:33) and Terry Foley, setting a new personal best time of 52:48.
Also competing in the 10k were Kelly Courtney, Mary Duffin, James Galbraith, Tim Hawksworth, Roy White and Jennifer Dickson.
Meanwhile, in the associated 5k, Bernadette Rose Carmichael was the only club representative and just missed out on a sub-30 time.
