Treadmill Challenge raises £1000 for the Children’s Hospice

Ballymena Runners has raised £1000 for the NI Children’s Hospice through a treadmill challenge.  The fundraiser took place over two days on 19th and 20th September at Lifestyle Fitness. Members of the club, and many other runners and walkers, kept two treadmills busy both days.

“Ballymena Runners is very much based in the local community and does much to support it.  We are delighted to run a fantastic activity that has raised £929 for the Children’s Hospice which Ballymena Runners has topped up to £1,000.
My thanks go to everyone who took part in the challenge or who made donations. A big thanks to everyone in Ballymena Runners and Moorfields Primary School and to everyone working behind the scenes to make this great event happen.
I’d like to thank Lifestyle Fitness for supporting the challenge by providing all the equipment and facilities.  The staff and members have been really supportive of this great fundraising activity.”
